Build the Right Annual Plan and Get Your Whole Company Behind It

From a blank page to a plan everyone can see, understand, and act on

November 11th, 2026, from 1:00–1:30 pm ET

Most annual plans don't fail in July. They fail in January, when the plan is finished but nobody else can see it.

A plan that lives in a leadership deck - or that was rushed together to hit a deadline - doesn't change how people work. Priorities compete, teams fill in the gaps with their own assumptions, and by Q2 no one can recall what the company said it would focus on.

That's a setup problem, not an execution problem. Getting the plan right and getting it in front of everyone is what makes focus, alignment, and accountability possible. This session shows you how to do both, with Ask Patrick helping you build it.

This session is for you if:

  • You're starting your annual plan and want a strong first draft without starting from scratch
  • You've built a plan before, but your team couldn't tell you the top priorities for the year
  • You're an executive or team leader responsible for making sure your department is working toward the same plan
  • You want a simple way to keep the annual plan in front of people all year, not just at kickoff

What you'll walk away with

This is practical training, not a product tour. Here's what we'll cover:

1. Create the right annual plan with Ask Patrick and Plan Builder

We'll show you how to use Ask Patrick to work through your annual plan in Plan Builder. You'll see how to shape a plan that reflects your strategy and reach a draft your leadership team can react to, instead of debating a blank page.

2. Keep your Annual Plan Focus in view with the side panel

A plan only works if people can see it while they work. We'll walk through the Annual Plan Focus side panel and how it keeps the year's priorities one click away for you and your team.

3. Roll it out company-wide

Building the plan is half the job. We'll show you how to share it with your whole company so every team knows what matters this year. When everyone sees the same plan, it's much easier to keep people focused, aligned, and accountable.
