Joey Graham, CEO of Prochant
Prochant, a leader in revenue cycle management for home-based healthcare providers, operates in a highly complex and regulated environment. Spanning from intake, to billing and collections, their work directly impacts their clients’ ability to turn patient care into cash flow.
In their early stages, Prochant implemented EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) to bring structure and discipline to the organization.
“EOS was valuable because it helped us get organized. I think of it as training wheels for a small business,” said CEO Joey Graham.
But over time, Prochant outgrew that simplicity. The binary nature of their system, where priorities were either “on track” or “off track,” no longer reflected reality. At the same time, expectations didn’t slow down. Prochant needed to deliver consistent growth while maintaining strong margins year after year.
“You can end up with talented leaders all working really hard, but not moving in the same direction or at the same speed.”
Prochant needed a system that could align execution across the entire organization - and scale with them.
The turning point was a realization that effort wasn’t the issue; execution was. Because even with smart, capable leaders, there was a gap between strategy and execution.
“We didn’t just need more effort. We needed a better operating system. You know you should have annual goals. You know you should have a planning rhythm. But how do you actually do it?”
Without a system to connect the dots, teams risked operating in silos.
Prochant needed more than structure. They needed a system that would:
Rhythm introduced a more nuanced way to measure and manage performance.
“I was drawn to the red, yellow, green concept immediately. Yellow matters…it helps you spot risk early before it turns red. We also realized what we had been calling ‘green’ was actually ‘SuperGreen,’ which helped us define success more clearly.”
Rhythm also reshaped how Prochant approached long-term strategy. “You don’t need to know how you’re going to get all the way up the mountain - you just need to know how to get to the next base camp.”
Instead of spreading efforts too thin, the company narrowed its focus. “We probably had 50 ideas in our idea graveyard. Now we have four that we’re actually executing against.”

This ensured every initiative tied directly to long-term growth, and that’s when everything started to harmonize.
While several elements of Rhythm elevated Prochant’s strategy and execution, Performance Management is what ultimately brought everything together - linking strategy, execution, and culture across the organization.
With Rhythm, Prochant implemented job scorecards for every role, weekly KPI tracking tied to company priorities, and clear definitions of success and failure. Each employee now understands what they’re accountable for, how their performance is measured, and how their work connects to company goals.
This reinforced something even deeper: the company’s core values. “Core values aren’t invented. They’re discovered,” said Joey.

The Prochant team then embedded those core values directly into how performance is measured and managed, so that weekly execution and accountability fed directly into the performance review cycle. This created a closed-loop system where planning, execution, performance, and culture were fully aligned. Joey adds,“There are no surprises in performance reviews anymore. We are locked in and rowing in the same direction with a shared vision.”
Prochant didn’t just improve execution. They built a system that delivers results consistently.
The biggest transformation wasn’t just growth, but predictability. With a fully aligned system in place, Prochant can now execute consistently - quarter after quarter.
“When I think about measurable impact, it’s that we’ve built a business that can grow, sustain healthy economics, and do it predictably.”
