Plan Your Personal Quarter to Deliver Predictable Results

Tiffany Chepul Tue, Oct 24, 2017 @ 11:00 AM

We talk a lot about plans - annual plans, quarterly plans, team plans, project plans. But what’s your plan for the next 90 days? What are you doing?

We all know that Rhythm is about focus, alignment, and accountability. While most of the consulting I do is with teams, I love it when I get the opportunity to work with someone one-on-one. They are usually struggling with one question: How do I gain personal focus while still supporting my team’s plan?

Here are some great ways to center yourself, prioritize your own personal 13-week race, and set yourself up to deliver predictable results.

Using Rhythm for Project Management

Jessica Wishart Tue, Sep 5, 2017 @ 09:00 AM

Imagine this - over a year ago, I raise my hand after our company Annual Planning session and volunteer to help with a major project our company was taking on. We set out to write a book of case studies where each consultant would write a chapter featuring one of their clients and how they were using Rhythm to achieve success in their company. When I raised my hand in that meeting, I couldn’t have imagined how complex it would turn out to be to manage a book with 9 authors, 11 clients, editors, publishers, and stakeholders in our sales and marketing team to please. Without the help of an awesome project management tool, I don’t think we ever would have gotten this project done.

While Rhythm is primarily a tool for managing large scale, strategic initiatives, the enhanced features in Rhythm 4.0 make it a great tool for project management, too. I know first hand because this is the tool that I used to manage our very complex book project.

Coach Your Sales Team to Get Predictable Results

Being a great coach is founded on knowing which hat you’re wearing. Everyone wears multiple hats. It could be a team member, project leader, department head, or entrepreneur hat. The moment you engage with a team member, you should consciously determine which hat you’re wearing. Although your intent is positive, your impact can be negative if you forget to first determine which hat you are wearing. Jack Daly is a super motivator, author, and coach who shared this with me regarding the coaching hat:

Stop Putting Lipstick on a Pig: Start Driving Predictable Results

Barry Pruitt Thu, Aug 10, 2017 @ 09:00 AM

You may have heard the old saying; “Putting lipstick on a pig doesn't make it more attractive!” You may chuckle at the meaning, yet I see it often with CEOs and leadership teams while hearing their argument that they move too fast to slow down and work on the things other successful companies do.

We had many exciting moments on the first day of our Breakthrough Conference yesterday. And, I was so
happy to end it with a story from one of our clients, Dr. Vogt, CEO of BioPlus, and a sneak peek at our new book coming out spring 2016, Predictable Results: How Successful Companies Tackle Growth Challenges and Win. This is a really special project for me because I have the opportunity to showcase our consultants and the work they do with our amazing clients, like Dr. V.
