Many companies have nicely bound and thick strategic plans. Thick plans. What I call high "thud factor" 
plans. So heavy that if you drop it on the floor, you hear a loud "thud". So much time put into writing. Yet how much time put into reading? Most executives tell me that while they want to read these thick company strategic plans, they fail to. Guilt ridden and all, they still fail to read these plans. These plans remain as beached whales on the shelf, offering little practical value.
